Ill be rolling from DC to JMU to VIR on Friday night/then back that way sunday night. Ill have two seats open with plenty of room, and if I decide to pack everything in the m3 I could easily have 4 (5 if you squeeze) seats open (and pack everybodys bags in the small trunk of the denali and then all the room in the m3.) Just looking for everybody to chip in a bit of gas. Maybe $20 per person round trip? This would also include travel to and from the hotel saturday morning/sat night/sunday morning. Although we will be at the tavern saturday night. Figured id offer as ill be rolling through JMU both friday night and sunday night.

Looking to get a room, what hotels do I avoid? Is the Super 8 a complete pile, it's only 60/night? Sleep Inn is 90...

I think the Martinsville race is this same weekend, It usually is, so be prepared to stay in Roxboro or South Boston. Other than that, if you can get into the Best Western or Sleep Inn, those are the 2 best to stay in. Just don't stay at the Innkeeper, you'll catch something I'm sure.

Actually the NASCAR race at Martinsville is the weekend after, when we will be doing the car show at JMU. I might be up for working, though if that's the case I might need someone to drive me down there.

Glad you got a room Steve, see you there.

Sounds like we definitely need to make space for a bunch of MMers, I wont be getting there till late friday night. Can anyone section off a good bit of paddock space for at least a few cars and my truck and trailer?
