Yeah, everything's looking like I should be able to come and run for the day. Tightened up my coolant lines that were leaking, and attempted to rtv this oil leak, but it's somewhat massive (comin from a turbo feed to the block). Also working out my sputtering/backfire problem; playing with my spark plug choice and gap. I'm just gonna register there since something might happen to the car the day before knowing my luck. Hope to see you guys there! I'm trying to get my other drifter pals who live in Richmond to make it out too.

Had a great time with everyone! I thought VMSC as a group had a hard time going between informal and ├╝ber-srs... but Peter's car was a riot and I did above marginal, which was all I cared to do

It was a good time and same feelings as jake on how to take VMSC. Only got 2 runs in, pulling up to the line on my third and I threw a TPS CEL, and didn't wanna risk doing anything to serious. This morning, everything checked out ok....maybe the heat got to it.

Jake coming through with the video, nice.

Had a good time, I left a LOT of time on the table, discovered some really good lines on my last run that were blown anyway because I messed up the first part of the course. It was a more corvette-oriented course, leaving me to bounce off the rev limiter in literally 3 parts of the course. This was also the second time ive gotten fuel starvation during an autox even with these heat-cycled out tires so im starting to get to really know how this car's dynamics work. Need to run at least half a tank in her now or do the dual fuel pump mod. Going to do more research as my star specs will have a ton more grip and if im getting fuel starvation already...

Its about time I need a dedicated camera setup so that I can learn a lot more about my driving and mistakes. I pick up on a million mistakes (and im sure a million more that im not picking up on) but I have a very short memory so I consistently go out and make them. I may also start keeping a log book. Have any of you previous racers kept log-books for notes on your own driving? Any data acquisition equipment? Ive been doing autox for 7 years now and feel its time to step up.

Awesome video, good stuff. Had a blast this past weekend. I looooved VMP but probably won't do another VMSC event. Very weird style. I had to chase down a tech guy literally a minute before start b/c you got tech'ed "whenever, if he sees you". I don't see any times posted anywhere, and no photos....drove 6 hours round trip and not a single photo posted on their site/flickr yet, I've been heavily trolling, so that blows.

In summation, lot - good, group - not so much. Met some very cool people though, but not digging their style. BRR throws a much better event. Now I just gotta get to a NASA one.

If your looking for way more organization and a humongo amount of pics....Capital Driving Club is pretty fantastic with it. Plus I like their classing system way better than SCCA. It wouldnt be good for lets say nationals but it works really well for a laid back group. And since their limited to smaller (but much cleaner cause I know you care) lots their courses are really geared towards miatas and light cars. I run with them and am trying to compete for the driver championship this year so ill be at every event as long as it doesnt interfere with NASA or a vacation.

PS- results were up Monday for CDC when the autox was saturday. Here are some example pics from saturday...
Some pics of I, Dean, and John, Kyle missed this album, but theres multiple albums people have posted already.
