"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

Which is even funnier when you consider how much we're all willing to spend on thigs we want for our stupid hobbies.
I'm in. Has anybody bought tickets for the race yet?
When it comes to Ryan Jenkins, the story ends with me putting him in the wall.

I'm in. Has anybody bought tickets for the race yet? No but I'm thinking it might be a good idea for me. I'm thinking I should be able to get credentials again, but with Dorna's insane credentials requirements for websites I can't be 100% sure they'll grant the same exception they did last time.
Indy has really high capacity but I imagine the prime viewing spots will get sold out.

Does anybody want to take on organizing buying all seats together? That's probably the only way to get a bunch of seats close to each other.
You know, if anybody's actually willing to admit that they'd like to sit near their friends at the event.

I guess I could call the track to find out. Of course it would mean that everyone would need to commit early and buy their tickets. If we get good seats if someone needs to backout they can always sell them.

Unfortunately no Moto GP credentials this year . I'm gonna have to find a way to write for a print magazine if I want to finagle my way in.
Apparently on Indy's website you can select the exact seat you want. I'll play with it at home to figure what would be a good block of seats for us to go for. We should probably pick a date that we all buy our tickets if we want to sit together.

We can actually buy them all together. My thought is to either do the B stand/penthouse or the corner terrace.
With the B seating we can see the drafting battles and passing into T1, at the corner terrace we can probably be closer to the bikes and maybe see some dicey passes through the chicane. Both locations you can see jumbotrons.
Thoughts?
