My point, saying that Blue Collar morons and Rednecks were laughing, shouldn't have anything to do with their religion. As far as I'm concerned, National Doctrine should take precedence over Religious Rule.

National Doctrine provides equality under the law and an establishment of innocence unless a person has actually done something wrong. MOST religions are intolerant of each other... and I could care less about that. Simply belonging to a group does not warrant prosecution, persecution, or deportation. An American Nazi party still exists, as the prime example goes. The times in history when Man has allowed himself to group all people of a certain ethnicity or belief have been incredibly dark. I would like to believe that there aren't people who would like to re-establish internment camps or kick out all the "_________________"...

The Blue Collar Comedy Tour was on tv yesterday. I had never seen it before so I thought I'd at least give it a chance... turns out that Blue Collar folks and Rednecks think that it's funny to put all Middle Easterners in the same Terrorist boat and make fun of their religious garbs.

For the record: I don't hate on Muslims, and I find people who generalize and hate on all of them based on their beliefs and culture stupid. I do, however, hate on the rest of society's reaction to them and other groups of people/causes.

I think most of you are missing the point of this discussion. I'm not focusing on the Muslim part of it; Islam just so happens to be the hot-topic issue these days and is thus the cause of all this BS. I'd be posting up the same thing if Australia told Hindu extremists to GTFO or if British teachers were forced to dress up as aborigines to promote multiculturalism.

The point of all this is that the world has somehow shifted to a realm of ultramega PC-ness and everyone is afraid of everyone and anything. I'm really trying to figure out the historical context of all this as I have never come across anything to explain this sudden shift in attitudes in any modern history class I've ever taken.

And for anyone who still can't figure it out, the article said we are happy to welcome and accept you into our nation and culture so long as you abide by our laws and way of living; if you're coming here or already are here to change things to suit your heritage or group's beliefs, GTFO.
