well good news, for '07 Honda upgraded the RR seat.

that was one of many of great things i've heard about the new '07 600RR

I have an '03 and i never really had an issue with the seat. I guess it's my riding style since i hear people complain so much about the '03-'06 600RR seats.

chris, when you say HDs were more expensive in your looking, you mean by like 3x, right?

At least 2x for a comparable machine and the lower displacements HDs suck.

You'll probably be fine then. I have no idea what you or your woman look like, but when I had mine (and that particular gf) we were probably a combined weight of ~330lbs or so (God Bless little women who like big guys) and did alright on trips around the valley and such.

As for the Hypercharger - I agree. I never bought one but I wouldn't consider it a negative point if a bike came with it. Atleast it's different. Most of Honda's stock airboxes on the smaller cruisers aren't particularly attractive.

Nice looking bike, Chris. Did you have to buy different gear for the cruiser, or can your gear for the SV be used as well for the Honda?

If you ask cruiser guys, I'd need different gear but I've got no problems wearing a full face helmet and my other gear with a cruiser.
