New steering head bearings put in last night Smile Overall not a hard job - remove front wheel, brakes, fender, forks, ignition, pull the steering head out, clean everything, grease the new bearings and put 'em in. The snag I ran into, is that there is an air duct that is right below the steering stem - so it has to be removed. And to remove it, you get to remove the airbox and the radiator. Pain in the ass.

sorry to hear that brother, dont get discouraged. come up to nova, ill learn ya.

lowering the tire presssure adds a lot to side to side stability, makes a greater contact patch. Makes the tire less likely to spin, and heats the tire up faster. 10 psi is great, 20psi is the max I'd ever run. it gets unstable above 20.

my buddy commutes 20 miles a day on 5psi in the rear because hes a moron and likes doing slow shit in traffic and refuses to learn at a normal pressure. He calls 10 psi 'filling it up'

Frame sliders are done - (Yes that is a a replacement fairing..... got it on ebay and it was worse than the pictures showed - I may re-do the vinyl on it).

Pretty easy to do, just a drill, holesaw and dremel.

damn man, thats a good deal. those parts are expensive as shit. when i fixed my handle bar, with JayRay's help, I bought all new parts. And the fucking lead-weight insert that goes into the handle bar ran me 21 bucks, just for the damn weight!
