I like the simple things in life. 300hp is more then enough. What makes me happy is to see someone take their car...a street car... and make it there own in a serious tasteful way. Now I understand that tasteful depends on the person but I make that statement to weed out the ricers...anyone who lists battery terminals and lug nuts as performance parts. I mean, look at Chad's Mustang, Pete's XR, Nick's BMW, Blair's Dub, any of them. I think those cars are 100X cooler then this Cobra. None of them make 1000hp...but I think they are tons more impressive. But that is me. That is why I love TD's, its a simple man's hotrod. Yes...I just called myself simple.

Thats cool. I don't think I'll ever get the turbo Dodge thing, but I'm sure you like them for your own reasons, just as I with my stupid-high HP cars.

And this is a really, really simple man's hotrod

Anything with a flat-head V8 is cool  Its a "to each his own" thing. So do you plan to spend 10s of K's building uber-power cars Goodspeed? If so that is cool, I have never heard you talk about what kind of car you would really like to havein real life  Its all about the passion my brother. I'm not against power...I'm pro-accessibility. I think for a car to be 'cool' in my eyes it needs to be something accessible to me. That does not mean something cheap...but something accessible. Lets talk Vipers for a second. I am trying to position myself to be able to acquire one after I graduate. I got on a Viper forum to ask questions about different years and options and what to look for. I was under INTENSE scrutiny because I wanted to...gasp...DRIVE IT. I told them I was looking for a car that could be almost a daily. You would not believe the response that gets. Which is a shame to me. TDs are cars that are accessible, cheap, fun, and when you get your ass kicked by one...its just so funny you have to laugh. So, when something is uselessly powerful, overly expensive, or held in such high esteem you are afraid to drive it (resto projects and such) it looses it's flair to me. Anyways...enough of that. Back to the uber-useless, crazy power, babe magnets!!

^^^ Baby jesus just threw up in his mouth a little.

My ideal garage when i'm out of college (probably far, far out of college)is an uber-HP Supra (that would indeed take 10s of thousands...lol), a 240Z fun project car/track whore, a Harley Night Train, and a pickup daily. All would be built to last and be abused

Vipers are badass though. But doesn't absolute power corrupt absolutely? Pretty soon 450 hp won't seem like enough, then come the bolt ons, then the SC, and so forth, right? I've read one GTS owner say "drive your Viper daily for a week in the summer time...you'll never want to daily it ever again" haha. If you do daily it though, props to you for not giving a damn about things like...cup holders....and civility
