I'd still encourage you to give it a shot - you will learn quite a bit there even at 6 or 7/10ths, I sure did. Everyone that was there with carguys was glad they came out and had a blast with it - I wasnt the only one with apprehensions going out the first session friday.
Never said I was worred about _my_ driving, I know I don't have to go balls out. But what if I were out on track w/ that STi? I saw him coming up behind me like that? There is nowhere for me to drive off to avoid him hitting me w/o me slamming into a wall (that I can see). At least on Main and VIR I can drive off into the grass on most places and avoid some jackass doing a bonzai dive on my bumper. Like I've said before, I _may_ drive it someday, just won't be a ton of cars on it when/if I do.
