The ticket - "Improper Lane Change".

I got me one of them in laure, MD about 2 years ago. I was missing autocrossing so much that I decided to use ~5 cars as a salom . Cop was PISSED.

Wow. When I'm driving the Z on the interstate (or 29 for example), I just set the cruise at 5 over and don't mess with it... Cops still give me the evil eye - fortunately none of them have caught on to my no-inspection, no county-sticker, no front-plate trick yet (although that will get remedied as soon as I'm back from Atlanta).

I thankfully have never gotten a ticket in my Z, and cops never give me the evil eye. That's probably b/c it's not a Honda (yes, I got a lot more attention from the popos in my Honda). *knocks on wood*

John, who's Z is 6 months overdue for inspection... probably should put the catalytic converters back on to appease the hippies....

I paid 350+ for 6 tickets in a 2.5 week span. Only one was speeding, and that was the only one I could challenge in court. The rest were too far away.

During the court hearing or whatever, the Ofc. Puffenbarger said," it's a honda" . . sorta like it was code word for guilty, and after that, the judge wasn't going to hear anything I had to say.

I just got out of court here in Harrisonburg for expired license plate tags, expired inspection sticker, and no front license plate. I brought in all the paperwork showing I corrected everything, but the court fees killed me! $140 total!

9 tickets...in one day. 8 of them in less than an hour....

4 of them laughed out of the courtroom...by the prosecutor. I probably could have gotten the others thrown out too, but thought it was safer to just pre-pay them.

5 patrol cars had pulled me over at one time or another. (1 county, 2 Strasburg, 1 Strasburg Chief of Police, 1 VHP) My cars were towed and impounded, we spent 2 hours in the police station while those yahoos tried to figure out exactly what law I had broken. During that time I was threatened, misinformed, and generally bullied. I paid the registration and inspection fines (380 dollars, court fees included) and took the "Open Title" and "No insurance" to court.

I went to court, and the prosecutor laughed the tickets I brought right out of the courtroom, and told the officer (who looked just like Farva) to learn the law so he'd stop wasting the court's time.
