Exactly what Maeng said, pack like a woman, err on the side of caution, be prepared, whatever you want to call it, always pack for any kind of weather, especially when you're going to be a flagger and could possibly be stuck out on the station all day. The last thing you want to have happen is get caught unprepared, it'll make your experience at the track a bad one and that's the last thing any of us want.

If you have the gear there and forgot to bring it to the station with you don't be shy, call into control, go to the alt channel and ask if something can be brought out to you between sessions, the guys are very understanding and always willing to work with you. Please do try to bring as much with you as possible though.
