Well the miata idea fell through - for those that dont know, the shell was a bit bent. It had been hit and pulled back, the front subframe had been replaced and the left side frame rail was still a bit twisted up. I sold it for about what I paid for it, so that was a wash. I just didnt want to start with a bent car.

Anyways.. I guess i'm still looking for a car. I'm considering other options also, maybe an e30 325is, or 94-95 Integra. I still have no idea what I want to do.

He said he wanted a car with a STRAIGHT frame. Both you and I know how many times Bimmerworld has bent the fuck out of their cars...

Bimmerworld doesnt even start with straight cars to begin with Wink they probably rig up a 'redneck frame machine' with the car, some chain, an oak tree and their F250.

E36 = too heavy, slow, hard on tires/brakes and I cant use my pile of 205/50/15 tires. The idea of replacing the 368 bushings in the rear suspension doesnt sound much fun either.

Why don't you track the ITR. What are you still worrying about a track car for?

Did you even read the first post in the thread?

ITR is going on autotrader next week, and I'm becoming more 'motivated' to get rid of it so that I can free some some cash and get moving on something else.
