I owe just under $14K on my ITR, I have student loans, already have 2 cars, and I have a moving coming up that I may or may need to come up with some $$ for - and I'm sure as hell not moving 3 cars down there. I'll be buying a bike when I move, and we'll see what happens after that.

Short lifespan of engines, transmissions, turbos.... cost of tires, brake pads, replacement parts, etc.
I would be much more likely to pick up an FD as a fun street car rather than a track car.

Indeed, but I cant afford to run an FD at the track
I'm sure if i bought one it would see a couple events, but wouldnt make a habit of it. The temptation will be easy to resist when I dont want to replace expensive drivetrain components. There's no way an FD would do the 3,000+ track/8,000+ street miles I've done already this year with out any hassles.
