werd, i haven't found anything close to that range under 100k miles and not having been ragged on. i'm looking for probably 98-99 with 50-60k miles in very good shape... probably spend 16-19.

R2s are the successor to the R1 (R1s come in 93, R2s in the US came 94-95). They are the "sport" model. Rather than saying what they have, they don't have:
leather (they have cloth)
sunroof
bose system
rear wiper
They have:
front lip
rear spoiler
tighter suspension
faster 0-60 (4.8 on stock tires)
two oil coolers (much better for reliability)
only a 5speed
stiffer front/rear anti-sway bars
strut tower brace
