May be high but if you ask too low then it sucks. People will low ball regardless of price. So I'd rather ask high
Also, in my opinion that 2nd one you mention DJ doesn't look as good in condition as Dave's does. I believe the car is worth low 3k's but might get more.
The first link is to a 1985, which has the lousy M10 motor. Dave's has the M42...
Second car is full of rust.
Both are four-doors without the sport package. Not the most valid comparison IMO.
Now:
'16 Ram 1500 |
'97 BMW M3 | Some Press Loan
Then:
87 BMW 325e | 91 BMW 535i |
96 BMW 328i |
95 BMW 325i | 95 Mazda Miata |
13 Focus ST | 09 BMW 128i |
00 Pontiac Firebird | 05 Yukon Denali | 96 BMW 328iC |
11 Ford F-150 |
06 BMW M3 |
10 Range Rover SC | '03 Ford Ranger |
'18 Ford F-150 |
'01 BMW X5 | '98 Volvo S70 T5M
This is a great specimen, IMO.
I mean DJ, sure maybe the car itself isn't worth that much but when you consider what a novelty they are becoming to people you gotta expect to pay up $$$. I'd be asking the same price for this car tbh and that's after when i first saw this car with faded paint. Now its even all polished up and lookin pretty.

An object is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, now it's a matter of how long it takes to find someone (Apparent the kind I need is born every second)
Oh, if anyone wanted to drive next week but doesn't have a car, or just wants to rag on a poor mans M3, feel free to use this at the autox. Only stipulation is you'd have to be willing to help fix if something breaks. Also you'll be on all seasons and probably a stock 23 yr old 150k+ mile suspension.
Matthew has been driving the e30 for a couple of weeks even took it down to richmond and back once, but informed me the other day it appears the headgasket is shot, white smoke out the exhaust. Anyone in MM interested in making a few hundred bucks +beer and wan't to tackle a headgasket on a m42?
was looking at a VR set like https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw-he ... 1129063333 thinking you could change whatever you come across on your way.
or someone just want to take over a project car as-is?
You already know I'm all yours.

Sorry to hear. Make sure whoever does the headgasket (is it really worth it?) does it well.

i was going to ask 7k, but yeah, you're right 6 grand is probably more reasonable.
we should make it a turducken project, only you have to take a drink after every turn of the wrench.
