It's black..it was basically either going to be black or white no matter what car I got. I flirted with that crystal tint red they have, but I think I'd get tired of that pretty quick. The one at Moore that was a 6mt/2.0t was a kind of weird/neat gray-blue color that I actually liked when it was paired with the titanium interior. I was pretty close to buying that one because it was brand new, and I had them down from 43k to 32k, but I ended up deciding to buy this one because it was the premium trim package (2 levels up from the new one)

I haven't been on the forum for a while so I just saw this. Congrats! This is the new version of the engine I have in both my cars. Gen III vs. Gen II Ecotec block. I'm jealous of the extra gear though.
I'll warn you that the LNF (and I'm assuming the LTG is the same) has a 'learn-down' feature where the wastegate is opened so that power never exceeds 260 (272 in your case). So if you did an exhaust or downpipe for example, you'd have more power, but after 20-30 ignition cycles the software "learns" that it's making more power and opens the wastegate sooner. It's a bummer, but that's what the engineers decided to do. Tunes for the LNF aren't expensive so I doubt the LTG will be either.

Thanks!
That is good to know about the learn-down feature. I have been having some thoughts about mods already because of the ridiculous cheap pfadt kit that's out there. I am kind of holding out though to see if they ever do a GMPP kit or something before I go too wild. That also makes me wonder if its worth running premium gas? I just went down to roanoke for christmas and calculated the mileage manually to see if what I got matched up to the onboard computer. I got 28.5 for the mostly highway trip going 75ish. I figure that's not too bad. The on board compy said 27.5
I have officially put on ~2500ish miles on the car now. Still love it.
G/F got me some new mats for Christmas...
Attn Dan: I am having some issue where my blue jeans dye is transferring onto the light colored leather in the seats. I haven't treated them with anything yet, and I think this is a fairly common thing with light colored leather (though I did not have this problem with my subaru that had tan seats). What is the right course of action to 1) Remove the current blue tint the seat has and 2) Protect the seats from future dye transfer if possible?

I run premium in both of mine. While "highly recommended" but not required, I'd run premium if I were you. I bet you'd see a slight fuel economy bump too. When I worked for GM in Pontiac, MI I was in ICE teardown where I compiled and presented post-test reports for various Ecotecs, including several LNFs. There was a noticeable difference in component wear between the test engines run only with regular and those run only with premium. Just food for thought. GM dynamometers used Shell gas 90% of the time FWIW.

Well yesterday was the first nice day in a while so I decided to do a few little projects that are indirectly car related. I bought this cable lifted platform off amazon and installed it in the garage. I had been just parking one car in there, but I've been trying to keep the ATS in there too and its a pretty tight fit with a car, a motorcycle, a dirtbike (project) and a few other garage-y things. Needed to free up some space for some activities and projects I have upcoming.
If it looks slightly askew it's because it is..need to adjust the bolts on the bottom a bit to get it squared up. Overall I'm pretty happy with it. You can lift it with a drill if you have a 1/2" chuck. It's 4x4'. and can hold 250lbs of crap. It's amazing how much easier it is to park the car with just a few things out of the way. Having two of these would be perfect I think. You'll notice that for some asinine reason they built my garage up instead of deep, so if your garage is similarly built, might be worth an investment. One thing to note is that the cables arent long enough for the platform to come all the way down to the floor..it's about hip high.

2019 Accord Sport 2.0 A/T
2012 Civic Si - Sold
Took the car to the dealer in winchester today to get a few things addressed. Listing them here for posterity:
1) Low voltage indicator for the left front headlight. Apparently there's a TSB about this. Must be a bad sensor or something because the lights seem to be working fine
2) Backup screen flickering intermittently when it's in reverse. This problem was documented in a video I managed to record with my phone so they don't think I'm crazy.
3) Shifter feels funny going into 3rd. Not sure what's going on there, but when I said that, the service manager said "Oh yeah, we have a {recall|tsb|something} on dual mass flywheel." I will get more details on what exactly they did when I get this back. I know some owners were having some low RPM stall issues, but I haven't had that issue - it just feels kinda clunky going into 3rd specifically.
4) Probably not related, but I have stalled the car a couple of times. Some of those times, if you start it back up immediately, the electric power steering doesn't come on and you have to restart it again. Told them to investigate.
5) Cadillac service including oil change, filter, tire rotation. Included up to 70k miles I believe.
6.) Ordered a touch up pen, because this black seems to be pretty fragile when it comes to a gravel or something hitting it.

I'd say that's probably the case with most any first model year car.
I forgot to mention that while the car is in the shop i'm bombing around in an XTS. It's literally a couch on wheels. It's definitely not the fully loaded version, and I'd take my car over it for sure. I didnt even look to see what motor is in it, but it's the 6 speed auto. Seems to be adequate. The interior is kinda meh. The first thing I missed was the HUD. The color combo - silver car, grey and black interior..just doesn't do anything for me. The pinnacle of the driving experience seems to be that you don't have to avoid potholes. Just nail them, and you never feel it.

Did first autox today. Car did well and I did ok. Finished first in novice which doesn't mean much. My times were all within a few secs and I only missed one gate..the last one, on my first run. The car had a lot more to give I think, but I did encounter one tricky thing. They had an in-out hairpin that was really tight and it seemed like when I had my wheel cut too sharp electronic nannies kicked in and I basically went down to like half power. Need to research that more, but it made it hard to pull strong out of that. Video incoming.

Reading around on the Cadillac forums, there were WAY more issues than I see typically on the Jag forums....granted there is a lot that factors into that but you find a lot more unhappy campers that have jumped ship back to the European marquees in the Caddy community.

I was told that Land Rover had come a long way since 2010. It appears that I was misled. So much for that one in the future! I was a little surprised to see Jeep that far down on the list.
