Good luck. The 5spds are unicorns.

Got 27avg on the way home from the inlaws.

May grab some hella supertones....because ricer.
Outback XT's were the same thing, and appear to be a lot more common with 5MT's...

A quick search on auto trader, I found like 3 different mt legacy wagons. I didn't think they were that hard to find after that. I mean I was barely trying. I'm talks about like the 05-08 or whatever years they are.

Yea you can find a Legacy 5spd. But can you find a Legacy GT 5spd.

Quick search, any distance, Manual, GT, only 6 popped up.
I thought I had found them but maybe I was missing one detail or the other. I was only looking at gt because I was only looking at ones with the hood scoop. Hmm oh well, outback xt have more flare on their fenders and quarters. Fenders could be an easy fix if they share a body with the legacy, but that leaves the quarters which with a wide tire, all the flares may look just fine. Outback XT's aren't exactly out there in abundance either though.

Hmmm, what could it be?

Did you read the description?
JustinG Wrote:Did you read the description?

Might be worth it, that's real cheap, even if you gotta put in a new block, an STI block is like 1700 bucks.

Anyway, I found the Outback XT's (back when I was looking) to be easier to find, more decked out on the inside, and in better condition all around.

So, after driving this weekend at night, oncoming traffic....."ZOMG soo much glare, what a douche, stupid ricer and his cheap ass HID kit."

Then realized I had the same thing. Removed the HIDs from the car immediately when I got home.

Ordered some Hella Supertones, because Ricer + Prime shipping = WIN.

Option 1 - Leave em Red?

Option 2 - Blue to match the Subaru Logo?

Option 3 - Yellow to rock the MM colors (have the JMU license plate too so it would go with that as well)?

Did you aim them? I aimed the ones I had on the E36 and they were great. Nice and bright, nobody ever flashed me in anger.

Yeah but the cheapo E36 lights have HID housings with cut offs meant for HIDs, halogen housings not so much.

One of the many, many things I need to figure out on my E36 is why the cut offs are relatively normal on the left side, then go up at about a 45* angle on the right for both bulbs.

Ohhh, I forgot about the whole "HID in halogen housing" bit.

Its because that would be the shoulder of the road...it allows more light to reach over there to help eliminate dark spots on the side of the road. At least this is what I believe. I would venture a guess to say euro cars for countries that don't share our road patterns would have the opposite cutoff

The ZKWs and probably all the reps have a down tick cut into the shield so you can see signs and stuff on that side. The cutoff is not flat, but you can fix it if you want.

Looks good to me Navin. As long as you didn't fuss with the shutter it should be the same as the factory ones.
