They have to keep raising the bar to keep people interested. I've never seen the show, but I think the commercials for this season are hilarious. It's just 10 seconds of plain batshit without any narrative. I can't imagine 44 minutes of it, though.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth
I dont leave the room when my wife watches The Bachelor/Bachelorette, I typically flip open the laptop, and look up when there is Crying/Screaming/Bikinis. I watched the first episode of this season with her, lots of batshit crazy women on that show, no super hot chicks either. *flips laptop back open*
I did get the chance to finish up the latest season of Breaking Bad (Season 4). Season 4 was good, on Par with Season 2 and 3. Final 15 minutes of the last episode, pure AWESOMENESS. Anxious to see how they are going to wrap things up next season.
Now on to my DLs of Season 2 of Archer.

Exactly why the wife has "real housewives " on the DVR. It's good garage time for me. Every time I come in though, I spend 5 minutes watching, kind of in disbelief, yet eager to see what they will say next...

I'm not sure this qualifies as a guilty pleasure, but I didn't know where else to put it.
I knew nothing about this movie, but it seemed interesting, so I rented. It's kinda awesome.

3 minutes of action surrounded by 2 hours of boring "arsty" movie bullshit.
i couldnt even get halfway through it
Didn't like that movie at all. Literally all of the action scenes were in the previews and commercials. The storyline was also shit.

So how long do I need to give BSG? Watched the first episode and thought it was pretty bad. If it were a movie and hadn't come so highly recommended, I would've turned it off.

I think it was 5 episodes for me. I commented somewhere in here about them using skin to keep me interested but I'm too lazy to.look up when I changed my mind.

It was annoying at first, using hot blondie to keep me interested... but I guess it worked.
