i dont know if you were being sarcastic or not - but yes, basically. I think I read somewhere that the average persons taxes support 7 other people, and projected X number of years away - that will dwindle down to like 2.5 or something. Fuck that.
The ONLY socialist move I think this country should make is on prescription drugs. Medicare/Medicaid going to support seniors taking 19 pills a day and getting absolutely raped by the pharmeceutical industry. Now - there is a difference between this and socializing the entire health care industry. If I am wealthy, and want to pay Dr. X a million dollars to do my cancer treatments, I should still be allowed to.
