Yeah, just get it running. It will give you an idea of which type of LSD to get and an appreciation for it when it is in. Plus, driving it will give you energy to work on it more.
Plus, and not to be a "naysayer" you will probably have several small problems creeping up as you break it in. These too will require a little cash and a lot of emotional patience. It took me a year of track events to get the XR to a somewhat reliable state.
