Bootcamp is not an emulator though - it is basically a boot manager. Emulators create problems and huge performance losses. Windows can run on new Intel based Macs because they use the same hardware that any other X86 based PC does. In theory you should be able to run the newer versions of Mac OS-X on a PC if you wanted to (although I think it is BIOS blocked.)
