It's a two way streak, I do my best to respect their wishes, but they also have to understand that occasionally something I am passionate about is going to go against their wishes.
Anyway you get the idea, we're adults (chronologically at least) and our parents need to understand we're living our own lives at this point.

I didn't buy one while they were supporting me because I respected them. It's out of respect for me that they wouldn't even think about asking me to sell it now that I'm on my own.
