We did not say current students forum, it is campus event's forum. No one said none of you are invited. I think that section only adds to getting thr group together more.
i think thats crap because it seems as only current students can post to it. pete lives in harrisonburg and i dont think he posts in it. correct me if i'm wrong about that. also there are events in there that arent even in harrisonburg. if fostering relationships between current students and alumni is the concern, making a seperate forum just for students is going to only have negative effects. its like saying that the civil rights movement helped black and white people get along by giving black people their own bathrooms, water fountains and places to sit on the bus. i know thats an extreme example, but you see my point

If I have a fun time at a party with someone, I will more likely go out to the track WITH them because I am comfortable with that person.
DJ, you are one of the few that actually does participate in the MOTORSPORTS aspect of madison motorsports and i applaud you for that. i have no problems with the social aspect of MM, hell if you look back far enough, you can find the OG's exploits during parties and social gatherings while still at JMU. having car shows was my idea originally (its my goddaMMn car show) and was mainly put together by only the OGs in the span of like 2 weeks. i feel that the car show's purpose is similar to that of hyperfest's except in a much small scale. you bring the ricers and show cars out and let them know about MM and what we do. get them exposed to driving cars instead of showing cars and you see a natural progression.
