i disagree. i do think it's somewhat necessary for the forum to exist for the current students that see the forums and are not sure where to turn - getting lost with the massive amounts of posts on this forum. Especially those who don't check the forum every day like most of us posting here do. Since there are a lot more alumni and they're mostly pretty active in MM i think it's a good idea for those in hburg and/or on campus to unite for events and such without having to sift through the vast amount of threads created by alot of us in the northern va / DC area.
:?: Massive amounts of threads in the Events section? On page 1 it goes all the way back to mid June and page 2 goes back to March. The Events forum moves pretty slowly in comparison to most forums I'm on. Now I agree that threads might need more moderation to keep things on topic but that forum is not moving too fast at all.
