yeah thats padding.
most evos we see at the track have zip for saftey equipment. STis too. These cars are too damn fast not to have saftey equipment. (and that guy wasnt even pushing the car even close to its limits) I drive a little 95 whp miata and I have everything that money can buy. Welded cage, head restraint FIA seat, head restraint, etc. This is one reason I dont do much instructing anymore.
