Fixed that for you.
SV's make hugely better trackbikes than RR's for us mortals. The RR is just too much at once. An SV has less overall grip and less violent acceleration... everything gets done slower on one. This is a lot better once you hit the track because there are soo many different things to concentrate on - the more you can devote your attention to form [and subsequently less on keeping the rear tire from lighting up] the better. That, and you'll be more of the equation on an SV than on the RR - it won't let you get away with as much poor form as the RR will.
Plus, SV's are awesome for under 700cc twins catagories :-D (WERA lightweights
). You know, if racing's your bug *cough*cough*That, and RR's will get you more tail than SV's will on the street
