i pay i high premium.
$1400/yr with liability and comprehensive (about $900 of the $1400) to cover my '03 600rr. My deductible is $100 though. If i chose a $500 deductible my premium would drop to a little over $1100. My '95 gs500e was only $330/yr with just liability. This is also my first year riding and i've completed the MSF course in Virginia. The bikes were also registered in Northern VA (nearly triple H-burg for my cars - :hammer
I'm 22 with 2 speeding tickets in the last 2 years, 1 minor accident 3 years ago, a reckless ticket about 5 years ago, and a ticket for neglegent driving with i was 16 (8 years ago - doesn't really count), but not close to a perfect record. I've also claimed a stolen car, and numerous break-ins/thefts from my vehicles on my car insurance. My insurance company is Progressive through USAA - i'm hoping to transfer to Statefarm next year after it's been 3 years since my last ticket so it's "clean" in their eyes (they only check 3 years prior to the date of issue).
