why would you use a putbull/lab mix? buy some damn pitbulls or shepards or something. most of the local shops that are fenced off have shepards that are lose at night and when the owner shows up they go to their pins (10ftx40ft).
even the local "dealer only auctions" place has 5 dogs that run around their HUGE lot at night.
