Rob: your family needs to pick a new name brand. Don't turn down a car just b/c of color. You can do your own paint job or have a quick spray done for a few hundred bucks and suddenly the car is whatever color you wanted. Look into Keith's, so that you can get your civic and he can get his miata. It's already got suspension work done on it and should be able to do anything that you need it to. Would also be a good entry into going out on track, if you want to pursue that.
