didn't read the article, but pretty much every toyota made has the same thread for thier oil filter. I use the V8 filter for the supra, but somebody with a celica could too (provided no fitment issues). I'd try to put the old land cruiser filter on, but that thing is absolutely enormous (almost twice the size of the V8 filter).
