eh Im not really a fan of the 200x challenge. It started out as a great, fun idea, but I think guys are taking it too seriously and putting way too much ego into it, enough to fib about prices.
I refuse to believe in any way shape or form that you can build a v8 miata for $2k. simply cant be done.
