new track near Williamsburg

Some changes have been made since that track map was put together. The full course is now planned to be just over 3 miles and the East Course just over 2 miles (similar lengths to VIR).

They plan on opening the track in phases....first phase will be the East Course which should be open by mid-2006. Second phase will be West opening by 2008.

The track will run counter-clockwise.

there aren't that many people around that area. Compared to other tracks in the region.

DC, NoVa, Tidewater, Baltimore, Philly? Seems like a pretty good market to me.

I meant in the genral vicinity. It's damn near close to a lot if you consider a day drive. But people in Philly won't complain about noise in New Kent will they? The track has been on the table for a while as mentioned before. But, the few people who have lived around there a long time, and also the people with huge acrage have enough pull it seems to make it not a straight shot thing.
