Passing in a kart is an art form, since everyone has roughly the same power, and its easy to slide the kart and lose momentum.
I did a league with Porsche club 2 yrs ago at Allsports and, with no traffic I could turn pretty good laptimes, near the top 5. But put me in a race, and for the first 4 league nights I got my ass handed to me because I couldnt pass or block my way out of a wet paper bag. I ended up 8th overall for the 'season' and it really was a blast - they do it every spring, I'm going to go back again next year
