I've been trying to find a used set of race seats, with no luck yet. I don't really feel like holding out any longer. The Racer Wholesale catalog that arrived today reminded me of these type of seats, which seem like a good savings to me....
as little as $99 for a seat and ~$50 for a cover?

this "spec miata" seat goes for about $230 w/ cover, they have another with the cool little "wings" on top (like above) for the same $$:

this kind of stuff comes from Kirkey and Ultra-shield. They even custom make them to match your girth. Drawbacks? Your thoughts? Would a Forza be a better seat for the $$?
