Plans that I had for the car (remember this was going to be a track car that could be daily driven):
-Finish guage cluster:
Replace stock tach with Autometer tach. Replace temp guage with Autometer Cobalt EGT guage. Replace voltmeter with Autometer Cobalt boost guage. Put Autometer Cobalt oil pressure guage in. Turbo timer monitors air/fuel ratio.
-Custom fabricate aluminum driveshaft
-Get LSD from another mkIII supra
-Upgrade to Wilwood 6-piston calipers with larger rotors in front (will also require purchase of bigger wheels). Swap a set of rears from an NA mkIV to replace the mkIII rears. Route piping under car to funnel more air onto the rotors. All the extra horsepower from the new motor will very quickly overpower the stock braking of this car, more aggressive pads will also be a welcome addition.
-Have a roll cage installed. This would probably be one of the last modifications
-Upgrade radiator (road racing can be very hard on engine cooling systems).
-install mkIV euro hood scoop to help reduce under-hood temperatures.
-install Bomex "whale tail" spoiler, splitter up front (increase downforce), possible front body kit, though unlikely (too heavy for minimal gains). Repaint a dark metallic grey.
-Install Sparco America seats.
-new license plate= 1JZ-MA70
-make car as light as possible
-sell off as much stuff as possible (KYB shocks from previous owner, sways, ac stuff, cruise control, etc)
