To help make this discussion more useful lets get some parameters.
*Price range
*Intended use (I assume daily driver/occasionally autocrosser)
*Priorities. Rate these characteristics from 1 to 5, 1 being unimportant, 5 being extremely important. Weight, FWD, RWD, AWD, speed, modability, reliability, handling, ease of maintenance, and comfort.
Once you can figure out all of these things it will narrow down the list a lot.
*Price range
