Unless Jack can magically mount your 17in tires on his 16in rims I don't see why he would want your tires.
Edit - For $70 a pop the Kuhmo ASX Ultra High Performance All-Seasons I listed are very highly rated in wet, snow and dry (slightly below the top in class PZero Neros and well above any of BF Goodrich's offerings,) get great consumer feedback and are W rated (168mph) $280 + $35 shipping + $40 mounting fee = $355 . 4 * $90 for the BF Goodrich = $360 . Check out what people say about them and read Tirerack's test. The Kuhmo 711's on my SHO have held up so far and handle fine in both wet and dry conditions.
