I'm not sure how to explain this... when i purchased this truck many moons ago... the "average" lifetime MPG was 15.3... I reset it and i was getting 15.2 with a lot of towing mixed in.

I did a tire change and it seemed to go down to 14.8ish after that.... then in the "rush" to build the #civicofdoom and get it all dialed in (alignment, 2 dyno tunes, etc) AND then covid life (i only drove it towing it seemed like)... I got down to 14.2 MPG.

Jason did the service on the truck before the run to Louisiana ... and we got the good old 14.8 MPG towing most of the way there and all the way back. I had Jason do all the calipers (the rear bleeder screws were stuck), pads, rotors, and a flush... I drive home, park... drive to the airport for work... drive home... drive to the dump... i'm now up to 16.9 mph without resetting the meter.

i can only assume the calipers were dragging and maybe the Amsoil fluids are helping things get a little more slick? Im on the same crappy (and very used) Goodyears.
