Project: Metric Mule - Kaan - 02-07-2015 2008 Toyota Tundra SR5 Double Cab 6.5 foot bed Tow Package Fog lights Sliding back glass Center Console (who knew that was an option) Linex Bed liner with some bed cover (that wont be around long) There will be some mods but mostly I'm going to post on the adventure of not owning an American truck. Short term will be to clean the living crap out of this thing... it was traded in and we bought it before it even hit the lot. Its going to get some chassis saver work, step rails, some under seat storage, tailgate security, etc etc... and probably a head unit upgrade. Long term i'll look into a leveling kit
Re: Project: Metric Mule - Senor_Taylor - 02-07-2015 Boo. Toyota trucks suck. Good luck with your Jap-pile of rust. Silver? What a crappy color. Re: Project: Metric Mule - Sully - 02-08-2015 Center console like floor shifter center console or a flip down console over a bench seat? Sliding back glass? So basic. Re: Project: Metric Mule - Kaan - 02-08-2015 the flip down center console/flip up for a seat is the basic... the option is a big ass center console that has a hanging file system and other things, which I have. some people custom mount a safe in there, or handgun storage, etc. sliding back glass is an option, power sliding back glass is the PIMP option. Re: Project: Metric Mule - Kaan - 02-08-2015 Senor_Taylor Wrote:Boo. Toyota trucks suck. Good luck with your Jap-pile of rust. Silver? What a crappy color. the most off road this one will see is the parking area at Rausch Creek... Chassis Save your rust, Toyota isn't going to stand behind their chassis corrosion warranty anyway. I was looking for a blue, but this silver has grown on me. I still am not a fan of silver cars.
Re: Project: Metric Mule - WRXtranceformed - 02-08-2015 Very nice! That will be a fine truck for you for a long time. How many miles on it? Re: Project: Metric Mule - Kaan - 02-08-2015 Just under 63k miles. It's needs diff and transfer case service, but i tossed that in them after I talked them down $3k... They weren't about to do that for me lol Re: Project: Metric Mule - navin - 02-08-2015 needs more te-37
Re: Project: Metric Mule - Kaan - 02-08-2015 if you are buying... i'll rock them! Re: Project: Metric Mule - Evan - 02-08-2015 navin Wrote:needs more te-37ho-damn that looks good nice pickup pick-up kaan Re: Project: Metric Mule - Sully - 02-08-2015 Yea I've seen the big center console. My buddy's dad bought one like the first year they came out in that brown Navin posted. It's a cool color for brown. Let's dip it some cool pearl color lol Re: Project: Metric Mule - *insertusernamehere* - 02-09-2015 I LIKE IT ALOT Re: Project: Metric Mule - Jake - 02-09-2015 Wow, those TE37's look piiimp on it. Glad you found what you wanted! Let me know when the time comes for head unit modzz and I'll share wisdom and part numbers witchu. Re: Project: Metric Mule - D_Eclipse9916 - 02-09-2015 I 100% knew you wouldn't go american. Too much jap-crap runs in your blood, just don't make it like all the rest of your project threads (see: broken/never running/crashed) ![]() Nice pickup, pay attention to the recalls for rust to see if they can help (especially the front bumper/hood rust bubbles). The bed/tailgate is a foregone conclusion but looks like you already have a plan. That 5.7 is plenty flexible enough for your plans (Like that i5 already has a tonneau cover too)
Re: Project: Metric Mule - CaptainHenreh - 02-09-2015 Nice! Re: Project: Metric Mule - Kaan - 02-09-2015 the integra will be on the ground and driven to the alignment shop soon... I'm also going to bait the local inspection shop to try to fail me since its got all new stuff! Its even on pace to hit the April summit event Re: Project: Metric Mule - navin - 02-09-2015 Kaan Wrote:                                                   Re: Project: Metric Mule - Jake - 02-09-2015 Kaan Wrote:

Its got really nice manners even with the nannies on. we did have the "typical" issue where snow got packed in the ABS sensor, froze, threw a stability control light... then went away after driving it. no big deal... ignore it until it warms up, if its still on its an issue I've been averaging about 15mpg... 80mph on the highway the instant readings say 12-13mph but they jump higher when you slow down a bit. ehhh I never slow down. since I'm due for a fluid change I went with the TRD metal capped filter. I'm not sure why type of oil to stick in it... I just know I have to put in a lot
