The trip ended up being a little over 2400 miles to get the civic... and when i got within 10 miles of the house i heard some squeaking. At first i thought it was just the trailer and when i took the truck to the park and ride in the morning, it ended up being the truck.
knowing that the rear calipers had seen better days (the bleed screws were stuck) I went searching for new calipers. the "best" deal IMHO was the PowerStock units on rock auto... i used their ITR calipers on the integra for a while and they seemed to be a good deal and held up to tracking the car. So in complete ricer fashion, they come in red... and i cant have mismatched calipers ... SO i ordered front and rear power stock calipers... and raybestos rotors and pads (i like my ST43s, why not get their towing pad?!?!)
this truck can STOP now. the mid grade duralast stuff was fine... but holy crap these new raybestos pads STOP. i'm sure it helps that all my calipers are brand new... but still. very impressed.
