His uncle's friend installed a B16 engine in it but blew it up, then sold it to him with a SOHC 16V engine in it. He never drove it with the fancy engine. According to him the other guy was using nitrous and "shot his load" if I recall the conversation correctly. I don't know honda, thats all I know about it. I assume it would be like going from a 2.0LDOHC in the neon to the SOHC version.
Also, I agree that he should have let it go for $2500, hell $2000
