It's a 2006 MX5 Grand Touring with 54k miles. It was a low-flood car years ago, so has a salvage title. Also, the HVAC fan is not working, but the heat and AC function. There is a small leak in the roof that makes itself apparent in heavy rain. Other than that, seems to be a good running car. I think he would take something in the $5,200 range. Thoughts? Is it listed at the right price? I figured if KBB says $8-9k, then $5-6k with a salvage title is right.

He's not even in the ballpark at $5200 for the car. Salvage titles start at 40%-50% off retail and go down from there, especially with a flood car. I'd much rather have a wrecked car vs a flood car.

KBB "fair" condition is 5k-6k, and having a salvage title flood car with non working HVAC and a leaky roof puts it well under fair.
Seems a lot more likely to sell at 4k or less
^this.
In reality this is a $3k car, unless they fix the HVAC and top.
