The Cart Before the Horse: Spec 3 Build

Dropped the car off for the cage 3 weeks ago. He said it'd be done in 2 weeks. That didn't happen. Was supposed to go get it Saturday, but I decided to call him before driving down. I'm glad I did because he didn't answer his phone for two days, and when he finally did answer, he said he was out of town and the car wasn't ready. I'm not sure if he just forgot or what. Summit Point is this weekend, so I've got two plans. Plan A is to call the cage builder thursday and see if the car is done. If it is, I'll drive to Richmond after work to get it and then work on the car all day friday to get what I can done before I have to be a Summit to work friday night. Plan B is to suck it up and just do a few laps in the Fiesta this weekend and be bored.

Short list of things I'm going to try to do when I the car back is:
- Cut dash and reinstall
- Paint the parts of the cage that I need to install the roll bar padding on
- Swap rotors and grease slide pins
- Practice egress a few times
- ?????


It's going to be down to the wire, but I need to get in the car and do my TT check ride if I want to keep my schedule for the year that hopefully ends with comp school.
