This.  If you get a manual 360 you don't have to deal with servicing the F1 transmission, and timing belt changes are not engine out like they were for the F355.  I forget if the 360 needs to use the Ferrari factory computer diagnostic tool.  I know with the newer Ferraris it's a $20k tool and Ferrari won't sell it to you (or anyone but a dealer).

In the past the value proposition of the Corvette didn't have too much effect on the other cars. Now that the C8 has taken such a big step up, it may be the first time that it directly eats into the demand for those exotics. Wonder if it'll also put pressure on GT350 and ZL1 prices.

I did just see that the Corvette will probably be around 3600 lbs though. Only exotic/semi-exotics at that weight are the GTR, R8, 911 Turbo, and 2nd Gen NSX. All of those cars are AWD.
