HALP! Race/Dash Camera setups

Stahp with the shitty action cameras that never seem to record, get a used Smartycam (non-HD).  It operates with or without a dash and I got my original smartycam for $150 years ago.  I upgraded to the HD because its far better video quality, but the original is still good enough and worth it.

Will a SmartyCam work with a non-DL Aim solo? I didn't think it would.. 

I use a china action cam that has a dash cam feature. Wired it to a switch so I don't have to turn around all crazy to turn it on... and it's worked fine.

 
the older one will, and it can be hardwired using the cable if you don't.
