When my optima was getting shitty (despite living on a trickle) I did some reading and optimas are supposed to act like deep cycle. The CEO of the company claims he uses discarded 'dead' optima batteries that he revives in his daily driver. So....might be ok?

btw, ditch that awful lead acid jump pack and get a lithium ion jumper!
