The same Redditor posted a comparison of old vs new F150, too! This works well as I have the Supercrew/5.5'.
Quote:And there hasn't been much growth in full-size trucks either. Here's the '98 F-150 compared to the '18 F-150, SuperCab/6.5' bed 4x4 model (Supercrew/5.5' is identical):
The only non-negligible size difference is the 6" cab stretch in 2004 (2009 for SuperCrews). And I don't see anyone complaining that their cab has "too much" leg room.
- OAL: 226" vs. 232"
- WB: 139" vs. 145"
- W: 79.5" vs. 79.9" (80" is the max width allowable without clearance lights, and full-size trucks have been at or near 80" since 1961.)
- H: 76" vs. 77"
My truck feels huge but I know the styling has something to do with it.
