I also drove a 2018 TL-S A Spec. Oh my god what a terrible car. The interior looks like it's from 2008. The v6 and 9 speed transmission were ok. The motor sounded nice but overall was very jerky between shifts. I can't believe anyone would spend almost $50k on one of those.
Either way, I don't think bumping to the top trim for $5000 is that bad of a deal.
