The pastries from a nice cafe in Paris are the same as the pastries from a nice Cafe here. The (gross) pastries etc from a grocery store in London are the same as the (gross) pastries etc from a grocery store here. French cuisine is notorious for being drenched in butter. Sugar is huge in European culture.
If you sit down at a cafe in Paris and order a €12 chocolate croissant and say to yourself HOLY SHIT this is so much better than the honeybun I buy from the vending machine at work LOL fat americans, then you're just as stupid as Ken.
