I think the base model will probably be a good deal under $100k, with the Z06 at or above $100k. I expect it'll be more expensive across the board than the C7 and will price some people out at the low end. But on the high end this might be the car that pulls a lot of customer away from Porsche, and eats into the used car market for Porsche, McLaren, Ferrari, Audi, et al.
Every generation since the C5, GM has slowly chipped away at all the things I disliked about the Corvette. Now I'm at the point where I have to seriously consider taking the plunge. If they come through with that 9k rpm 5.5 DOHC V8 that's been rumored...I don't think I'd be strong enough to resist.
