Maybe he was just seeing how powerful he could be via Twitter. Halting trading because of a tweet is pretty wild even for his standards. Supposedly he already had financing in place to buy everything up. I was reading about Elon's stake in Tesla and how it is going to be very hard to oust him based on how his ownership and voting rights are setup. This will be interesting.
